Lou Chang has been dedicated to the field of arbitration since 1978, bringing more than four decades of experience to civil, commercial, construction & design disputes, business, and employment matters. Over the years, he has handled a wide spectrum of cases that include business and banking disputes, construction and contract issues, condominium conflicts, insurance claims, estate and probate concerns, as well as matters involving property, franchise, and leasing. His extensive background also includes arbitrating personal injury, property damage, professional malpractice, and other civil disputes, giving him a reputation for being one of the most versatile and experienced neutrals in the state.

He is the only Hawaii-based member of the prestigious National Academy of Arbitrators, an honor that reflects both his skill and credibility in the field.
